And in a conversation with Alex Cooper on a Call Her Daddy episode posted Wednesday (Jan. 15), the 35-year-old Daisy Jones & The Six star shed some rare insight on her mom’s romance with the King of Pop. “The one thing I know is that they were in love, and that their love for one another was genuine,” Keough told the podcast host. “Everything else I don’t know, because I wasn’t there for it.” Lisa Marie — Elvis’ only child, who died at 54 years old in January 2023 — shared Riley and late son Benjamin Keough with first husband Danny Keough. The “To Whom It May Concern” songwriter was later married to Jackson from 1994 to 1996, after which she wed Nicolas Cage (2002-04) followed by music producer Michael Lockwood (2006-21), with whom she shared twin daughters. While speaking to Cooper, Riley also reflected on how her childhood changed when the “Thriller” singer — who died in 2009 — entered the picture. “Our life wasn’t crazier,” she said candidly. “That already existed: the press, the crazy, the paparazzi and all that.” “I think when she saw Michael’s life, there were things he had that she didn’t have,” continued the Under the Bridge actress. “Before that, she was with my dad, and their life was very simple. Con el objetivo principal de facilitar el acceso al financiamiento para las micro, pequeñas y medianas empresas (mipymes) exportadoras y con potencial exportador de todo el Perú, Caja Huancayo y el Ministerio de Comercio Exterior y Turismo (MINCETUR) suscribieron un importante convenio marco de colaboración interinstitucional. A través de este convenio, el primero que firma el MINCETUR con una Caja Municipal. Fue suscrito entre la viceministra de Comercio Exterior, Teresa Mera, y el Presidente del Directorio de Caja Huancayo, Jorge Solís Espinoza, el último jueves. Se prevé colocar alrededor de S/ 35 millones en créditos para el comercio exterior. Se atenderá a más de mil empresarios exportadores y con potencial exportador a nivel nacional. ¿Qué implica el convenio entre Caja Huancayo y Mincetur? Ambas instituciones se comprometen a trabajar de manera conjunta para ampliar la oferta de productos financieros y fortalecer las capacidades de las mipymes. Caja Huancayo desarrollará y ofrecerá productos financieros diseñados específicamente para las necesidades de las mipymes exportadoras. Esto incluye líneas de crédito para pre y post embarque, capital de trabajo y entre otros. Al respecto, la Vice Ministra indicó que, debido a las inversiones en infraestructuras portuarias y aeroportuarias, la reciente inauguración del Puerto de Chancay, la suscripción de dos acuerdos comerciales y los nuevos accesos sanitarios para productos agrícolas, se despliegan grandes oportunidades para las empresas peruanas. Deben estar preparadas para aprovechar este momento y seguir posicionándose en los mercados internacionales, siendo el acceso al financiamiento un pilar clave para ello. Con estas medidas, dijo que el gobierno peruano reafirma su compromiso de apoyar a las mipymes exportadoras y de promover el desarrollo de un sector exportador más dinámico, competitivo y diversificado. Es preciso resaltar que en el desarrollo del Foro de Cooperación Económica Asia-Pacífico (APEC) 2024, Perú logró importantes acuerdos comerciales con economías miembros que facilitarán las exportaciones hacia nuevos mercados. Caja Huancayo presenta el financiamiento para comercio exterior (COMEX) desde 20,000 soles, a más, en esta primera etapa para pre y post embarque, dentro de un plazo máximo de 180 días. Además, se incluye un periodo de gracia de 15 días para facilitar la gestión del pago. Esta opción proporciona flexibilidad y comodidad para los clientes en el cumplimiento de sus obligaciones financieras. En ese sentido, este CONVENIO y el financiamiento COMEX representa un paso importante para apoyar el crecimiento de las mipymes exportadoras y con potencial exportador. Brinda una herramienta financiera especializada, y fomenta espacios de fortalecimiento de capacidades. While a number of U.S. awards shows and nomination announcements have been postponed or reworked due to the ongoing devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, England’s BAFTA Film Awards announced its nominations slate on Wednesday morning (Jan. 15). Notably, though, the box office smash re-telling of the Wizard of Oz-inspired Broadway musical was shut out in a number of major categories, including best film, director and adapted screenplay. The BAFTA nominations were the first for Grande and Gomez. The 20-year-old Mexican American ­singer-songwriter gave his first televised performance of his breakout hit, “La Diabla,” at the Billboard Latin Music Awards, where he also won his first trophy, for artist of the year, new. And this occurred just eight days after he released his celebrated debut album, Next, which became his first top 10 on any albums chart. “I’m still processing it,” Xavi says today. “It’s something that I didn’t really expect, but it’s a blessing. My grandpa and my whole family would always talk about this type of stuff; it was their dream to make it in the music industry.
