Inside The REFORM Gala With Jay-Z, Beyoncé, The Weeknd and More

To the untrained eye, it seems like just any other weekend inside Atlantic City’s Ocean Casino Resort. The last trickle of summer tourists meander the casino halls, lounge by the pool, and hit the beach’s boardwalk in a desperate attempt to soak up one of the last steamy weekends of the year. But on Saturday (Sept. 13), half of Hollywood quietly descended on the resort for the REFORM Alliance Casino Night and Gala, one of the year’s most sumptuous fundraisers and parties in support of REFORM’s efforts to transform probation and parole in America. Explore See latest videos, charts and news As the plethora of stars — including Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Kevin Hart, Travis Scott, Ice Spice, Machine Gun Kelly, Quavo, DJ Khaled, Latto, Emma Roberts, Jamie Foxx, French Montana and Ne-Yo — all made their way into the resort’s Ovation Hall, they were handed fizzling glasses of Armand de Brignac, while other attendees sipped on spicy D’USSÉ Sidecars or warm, comforting Espresso Martini’s. Foxx reunited with his Back in Action co-star Cameron Diaz, laughing and gabbing the night away while Foxx’s towering Buffalo Hat shielded his face from nosy onlookers (like Billboard). Robert Kraft — sandwiched in between Travis Scott and his fellow REFORM Alliance Board Member Michael Rubin — shared hushed conversations with both. Kraft would later bid almost a million dollars for a round of golf with his old friend Tom Brady, who during the night’s scheduled auction appeared illuminated on the stage via Zoom to oversee the bidding war. That round of golf, which would be played at Michael Jordan’s private Grove XXIII golf club, would actually go for $1.8 million. Elsewhere, an exclusive concert from Megan Thee Stallion and a one-of-one linen George Condo painting would soon after sell for $600,000 and a whopping $3.4 million, much at the teasing and baiting of the evening’s host Kevin Hart. “It’s a round of golf, Tiffany,” Hart called out at one point to Tiffany Haddish, who put up a good fight to try and secure herself a 9-hole game with the seven-time Super Bowl champ. “It’s not a date with Tom Brady!” Elsewhere in the auction, a painting by Rashid Johnson, titled “Soul Painting for Freedom,” sold for over a million, while another bidding war ensued for an Audemars Piguet timepiece made exclusively for Jay-Z, who sat sequestered alongside his wife Beyoncé in the middle of the banquet hall. Money was spent, drinks were poured, belly laughs echoed through the halls. Yet while the evening felt like an aristocratic dinner with some of today’s biggest stars, there were solemn reminders along the way about the true impact at play with REFORM’s work. “The mission hasn’t changed,” Meek Mill told Billboard, drink in hand outside the gala in a neatly tailored black tie ensemble. “We’ve changed about 22 laws and statutes in a bunch of states. I think the goal is just to keep going. We’re gonna one day talk about the people in the system that need jobs, so eventually we’ll venture over to that. But right now we’re focusing on parol and probation by going state to state, we’ve done eight or nine states so far.” Since REFORM’s inception in 2019 — which started after Meek Mill’s controversial parole violation in 2017 when he popped a wheelie on his dirt bike and received a two-to-four year prison sentence — the non-profit has passed 22 bills in 12 states aimed at curtailing the supervision-to-prison pipeline and the supervision-to-poverty trap that effects millions of ex-convicts. One of those impacted individuals, James Severe, spoke onstage prior to the auction, and grew emotional as he shared his own struggles within the prison system and how REFORM’s efforts changed his life. Regardless of these heartwarming stories, it’s hard to ignore whether the second Trump Administration will value criminal justice reform in the same way as REFORM itself. “I think overall, no,” Rubin said when Billboard asked if criminal justice reform was as unifying a topic as it used to be. “But for what we do at REFORM, absolutely. This is the one place people aren’t debating. People know we need to fix this. There are a lot of parts of criminal justice reform people don’t agree with, but I think the mission here has been clear since we started.” However, REFORM’s CEO Jessica Jackson added that since the nonprofit’s last gala in 2023 they’d passed five new bills, including the groundbreaking Act 44 in Meek’s home state of Pennsylvania, which eases the more draconian aspects of Pennsylvania’s restrictive probation system. This movement alone shows there is some bipartisan flexibility on this issue. “I think because of the way REFORM Alliance does our work, where we actually sit down with key stakeholders from all across the aisle — business leaders, faith leaders, law enforcement — we have been able to find that people on all sides of the aisle really think there needs to be reform, that there needs to be common sense injected into [the system],” Jackson added. “Our biggest obstacle has just been the ability to really get out there. But the incredible news is that as we’ve been passing these bills, we’ve been working on implementing them, and part of that involves collecting data. What we’ve found is our bills work. They make communities safer. They save states money. They promote human dignity.” “I’m not really deep in the political world but we have always had Republicans and Democrats working with REFORM,” Meek noted. “I don’t know what the level of political change will be.” After the auction, The Weeknd floated on stage to perform some of his biggest hits, including “Starboy,” “The Hills” “Timeless” and more. Along the way, Abel took shots of whiskey, shouted out Quavo and kept the vibes light and celebratory for his 40-minute set. The night was then capped off by a high-stakes, closed-door Blackjack tournament at Ocean’s Gallery Bark Book & Games area. Hov, French Montana, Taylor Rooks, Tyrese Haliburton and guest Andrew

MOBO Awards 2026 to Be Held in Manchester to Celebrate 30th Anniversary

The MOBO Awards’ 2026 edition will be held at Manchester’s Co-op Live on March 26, becoming the latest U.K. music awards ceremony to ditch the English capital. For decades, London had hosted the vast majority of ceremonies, centralizing many of the industry’s music awards shows. In June, however, The BRITs announced that it would be leaving London for the first time and taking the show to Manchester’s Co-op Live. Explore See latest videos, charts and news The Mercury Prize — a respected prize awarded yearly to outstanding British and Irish musicians — will take place in Newcastle Oct. 16, the first time the ceremony has been held outside of London. The MOBOs (Music of Black Origin) is the latest to swerve the capital and head to Manchester for its 30th anniversary show. The awards were first held in London in 1996 and over the years has recognized domestic and international artists across U.K. hip-hop, R&B, garage, grime and jazz, and in more recent years, rock and dance. Over the past two decades, the MOBOs have been held across a number of U.K. cities, first taking place in Glasgow, Scotland, in 2009, and since being held in Liverpool (2012), Leeds (2015, 2017), Coventry (2021) and Sheffield (2024). The MOBOs were last held in Newcastle, England, in February this year, when Ayra Starr, Central Cee, Ezra Collective and Shenseea were among the winners. Speaking on the announcement, Bev Craig, leader of Manchester’s city council said, “We have a lot of expertise as a city in delivering world-class events with a global reach, and together with our partners at Co-op Live and across the city we’re determined to do everything we can to support MOBO in making sure next year’s event hits all the right notes and is the very best one yet.” The 2026 ceremony’s full slate of performers and nominees will be shared over the coming months. The MOBOs also announced a Fringe Festival will take place in Manchester during the build-up to the main event, with a free program that will feature industry panels, talent showcases, live performances and creative workshops. Only Awards Show to Win Multiple 2025 Primetime Emmys

The team that produced the 2025 Grammy Awards experienced a big disappointment when the nominations for this year’s Primetime Emmys were announced on July 15 and Music’s Biggest Night wasn’t on the short-list for outstanding variety special (live). The Grammys had been nominated in that category in five of the previous seven years. Related Only one awards show was nominated in that category this year – and it was, unsurprisingly, the granddaddy of all awards shows, the Oscars. The other nominees were Beyoncé Bowl, The Apple Music Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show Starring Kendrick Lamar and a pair of SNL50 celebrations – The Anniversary Special (which won) and The Homecoming Concert. Here’s something that may provide some consolation for Team Grammy – the 2025 Grammys were the only awards show to win multiple awards across the three nights of the 2025 Primetime Emmys – the main telecast on Sunday (Sept. 14) and two Creative Arts ceremonies on Sept. 6 and 7. The Grammys won outstanding choreography for variety or reality programming for a specific routine – Doechii’s musical performance – and also outstanding lighting design/lighting direction for a special. Doechii performed “Catfish” and “Denial Is a River” on the Grammys as part of an extended sequence focusing on each of the eight best new artist nominees. This marked the first time in 12 years that the Grammy telecast has won two Primetime Emmys in a single year. The 2013 show won awards for sound mixing and costumes. The only other awards show to win a Primetime Emmy this year was the Oscars, which won outstanding production design for a variety special. The Grammys have never won in the top variety program category – now called outstanding variety special (live). This year’s show aired less than a month after wildfires devastated wide swaths of Los Angeles, calling the feasibility of even putting on a show into question. The Grammys, which aired on Feb. 2, combined traditional awards show elements with emotional appeals and fundraising efforts. Note: Conan O’Brien: The Kennedy Center Mark Twain Prize for American Humor also won one Primetime Emmy – outstanding variety special (pre-recorded). While that’s a prestigious award, that’s not a traditional awards show with winners and, um, non-winners. This year’s Primetime Emmys honored programs that aired between June 1, 2024, and May 31, 2025. Ben Winston, Raj Kapoor and Jesse Collins were executive producers of the 2025 Grammys for Winston’s Fulwell 73 Productions. Trevor Noah hosted the show for the fifth year in a row. Hamish Hamilton directed. David Wild served as writer. Get weekly rundowns straight to your inbox Sign Up Source link

Cardi B’s ‘Am I the Drama?’ Promo Interrupted by Daughter Kulture

After years of ramping up anticipation, Billboard cover star Cardi B is in full promo mode getting out the word about her long-awaited sophomore album, Am I the Drama?, which is due out on Friday (Sept. 19) The get-out-the-clicks campaign has included Cardi setting up shop on a busy NYC sidewalk last week and selling her wares grassroots style. Explore See latest videos, charts and news She was back at it over the weekend in an Instagram Live in which she was encouraging her fans to go out and buy a copy the album later this week. But, before she could even get her pitch started, the rapper’s eldest child with former husband Offset, eight-year-old Kulture, interrupted with her own sales strategy. “Oh, don’t get her album,” Kulture said to Cardi’s surprise in the video (which you can watch here.) Not super psyched to be negged by her own flesh and blood, Cardi hit Kulture with a harsh warning, asking her, “What you mean don’t get my album, girl? Then you ain’t gonna be able to buy s–t. We’re gonna live in the hood.” Playfully enraged, Cardi continued, “ain’t no more toys for y’all. No nice car, no nothing. No more Roblox coin, no more Apple, no more Target.” She then asked Kulture to name a few of of her favorite things, warning, “you gonna be eating rice and beans every G–damn… yeah, no crab… I think I ate crab in my childhood like three times.” Last month, the rapper jokingly claimed that if fans didn’t come out and buy Drama she might be out on the street. “I’m about to get evicted from my mansion,” she said at the time, according to Complex. “They’re about to repo all my cars. They’re about to take my Lambos and my Rolls-Royce. I couldn’t even get my pool cleaned this week, you know what I’m saying? I’m f–ked up in the game right now. Please donate to my album because it’s going to come out on Sept. 19 and it’s all I got. I just want to say thank you guys so much, because it’s been very hard for me.” The good news in the weekend IG chat was word from Cardi that she’s going to reveal something new about the album every day until its release later this week. The rapper’s long-awaited follow-up to her 2018 debut full-length LP, Invasion of Privacy will feature 23 songs, including her Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hits 2020’s “WAP” and 2021’s “Up.” In advance of the release so far she’s released the single’s “Outside” in June and “Imaginary Playerz” last month, both of which are slated to appear on the album as well. Liam Gallagher Pays Tribute to Late British Boxing Legend Ricky Hatton

Liam Gallagher is mourning the death of his friend British boxing legend Ricky Hatton. Following the passing of the 46-year old former champ, Oasis singer Liam took to X to pay tribute to Hatton, writing, “Absolutely devastated to hear the news about RICKY HATTON it was an absolute honour to know him and carry his belts RIP CHAMP LIVE FOREVER.” According to the BBC, the world champion nicknamed “The Hitman” was found dead in his home in Greater Manchester early on Sunday (Sept. 14), with officials not considering his passing suspicious. Hatton was a boxing legend, winning 45 of 48 professional bouts across a 15-year career and holding world titles as both a light-welterweight and welterweight. The boxer who retired in 2012 ran up a peerless record of 43-0 before losing to fellow legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas in 2007. Like the Gallaghers, Hatton was born in Manchester and was a lifelong supporter of his hometown and its cultural legacy. He squared the circle on their shared background in 2008 when Liam and brother Noel carried Hatton’s world title belts into the ring ahead of the boxer’s Las Vegas bout with Paulie Malignaggi. Speaking about his friendship with the Gallaghers earlier this year to the Vegas Insider, Hatton said, “Ever since I was a kid, I wanted to be a boxing world champion, support [local soccer club] Man City and listen to Oasis. But I became a four-time world champion in two weight classes, ended up boxing at the Etihad Stadium in front of 55,000 people, and became mates with Noel and Liam Gallagher over the years.” Hatton said he had bigger wins than his victory over Malignaggi, and “no disrespect to Paulie but the performance and the occasion with Noel and Liam carrying the belt was one of the highlights in my career. After that, Noel and Liam were performing in Mexico City, so I flew straight from Las Vegas to Mexico City with my pals to watch their gig.” He also opined on the detente between the once famously battling Gallagher brothers, saying, “I didn’t think they were going to get back together, Noel has said himself, when the fallouts happen then it’s over. Thankfully, he’s swallowed his pride, and they’ve got back together, and I’m made up. I’m excited to see them perform all of the old songs and if they can get together and make new songs, how good is that?” NME reported that in July Hatton attended one of the first Oasis reunion shows in Cardiff and later posted a picture of himself with Noel Gallagher and some friends at Heaton Park in their hometown of Manchester, as well as at a show in Dublin. In one of his final public appearances in August, Hatton was recorded at a bar in Tenerife in the Canary Island at a bar joining the house band for a cover of Oasis’ signature hit “Wonderwall” as well as crooning a karaoke version of the band’s “Don’t Look Back in Anger” at a bar in Spain. Oasis’ sold-out reunion tour marched on over the weekend with a pair of shows in Mexico City as the outing prepares to hop back over to London for another pair of shows at Wembley Stadium (Sept. 27-28), before launching dates in South Korea and Japan in October. Check out Liam Gallagher’s tribute to Hatton below. Absolutely devastated to hear the news about RICKY HATTON it was an absolute honour to know him and carry his belts RIP CHAMP LIVE FOREVER LG x — Liam Gallagher (@liamgallagher) September 14, 2025 Source link

Charli xcx and George Daniel Marry For Second Time in Sicily

Charli xcx and The 1975 drummer George Daniel are married, again. The couple who first tied the knot in a private ceremony in London at Hackney Town Hall on July 19 reportedly said “I do” again over the weekend in the small village of Scopello in Sicily, Italy. Explore See latest videos, charts and news According to People magazine, Daniel’s bandmates, singer Matty Healy, bassist Ross MacDonald and guitarist Adam Hann were in attendance for the second blessed event, along with members of the 1975’s touring band and Healy’s mother, Denise Welch and father, Tim Healy. Charli ramped up speculation about the couple’s plans a few days earlier in an Instagram post from Sicily in which she was seen sitting in Daniel’s lap and enjoying a night out in the city with friends. Vogue reported that Charli wore a sheer, bias-cut ivory silk chiffon slip gown dress by Danielle Fankel with spaghetti straps and a long train, with transparent chiffon fabric overlays over a contouring bustier. The magazine also noted that the gown had hand-embroidered organza micro petals and “dripping baroque pearls” trickling down the train. The Brat bride’s bouquet was made up of eucalyptus, baby blue and gypsophila, with the groom wearing a griege suit without a tie, cream shirt and black Oxford shoes. Among the friends reportedly in attendance were Charli’s tour mate Troye Sivan, as well as Amelia Dimoldenberg, Devon Lee Carlson, Shygirl and Gabbriette. During their first wedding in London in front of a reported 20 or so close family members and friends, Daniel’s1975 bandmates, minus Healy, were also in attendance. Lewis Capaldi to Headline BST Hyde Park and Roundhay Festival In 2026

Lewis Capaldi will headline a pair of massive outdoor shows in the United Kingdom next summer. Following AEG Presents’ announcement last Friday (Sept. 12) of Roundhay Festival, Capaldi will headline the inaugural event, set to take place July 4, 2026.  A week later, the Scottish singer-songwriter will top the bill at BST Hyde Park in London on July 11, joining Garth Brooks as a headliner. Tickets for both shows will go on sale this Friday (Sept. 19) and 9 a.m. BST from the festival’s official website. Additional performers on both bills will be announced in due course. BST Hyde Park takes place every summer at the central London park and attracts a wealth of huge names. Performers at the 2025 event included Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, Neil Young and Stevie Wonder. Capaldi is currently in the midst of a sold-out U.K. arena tour, the first since his comeback to the stage. The 28-year-old took time out from performing and recording due to his mental health, and returned as a live performer at Glastonbury Festival this June. “Survive,” his comeback single, shot straight to No. 1 on the U.K.’s Official Singles Chart upon release, and is one of his six leaders. His signature song, “Someone You Loved,” was confirmed in November 2022 as the U.K.’s most streamed song of all time, overtaking Ed Sheeran’s “Shape Of You.” Capaldi is a perfect two-from-two on the Official U.K. Albums Chart with 2019’s Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent (10 weeks) and 2023’s Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent (three weeks) both logging lengthy stints at No. 1. Last week, AEG Presents shared news of the forthcoming Roundhay Festival, to be presented in Leeds, Yorkshire, in what is one of Europe’s largest city parks, spanning over 700 acres of woodlands, lakes and fields in the north-east of the city. The venue has form for hosting large-scale music events. Over the years, the Rolling Stones (1982), Genesis (1987), Madonna (1987), Michael Jackson (1988), U2 (1997) and, most recently, Ed Sheeran (2019) have all played there.  Source link

Stephen Colbert Wins Primetime Emmy, Addresses Show’s Cancellation

The Late Show With Stephen Colbert won outstanding talk series at the 2025 Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday (Sept. 14), two months after CBS’s stunning announcement on July 17 that they were canceling the show. Stephen Colbert‘s win was greeted with a standing ovation at the Ovation Theater at L.A. Live. Actually, Colbert received a standing ovation even before he won, when he presented the first award of the night. “While I have your attention, is anyone hiring?,” he joked. “’Cause I’ve got 200 very well-qualified candidates with me here tonight who’ll be available in June. I also brought my own resume with me tonight.” When Colbert won the Emmy, later in the broadcast, he took the high road. “I want to thank CBS for giving us the privilege of being part of the late-night tradition, which I hope continues long after we’re no longer doing this show.” He concluded his remarks with a comment that suggested he is looking to his post-CBS future. “If the elevator tries to bring you down, go cray and punch a higher floor.” This was Colbert’s 11th career Emmy, but it was his program’s first win in that top category, following eight consecutive losses. Colbert’s previous show, The Colbert Report, won back-to-back awards in a predecessor category, outstanding variety series, in 2013-14. As an executive producer of the show, Jon Stewart won his 25th Primetime Emmy. He is closing in on the all-time Emmy winner, producer Sheila Nevins, who has won 31 awards. The other nominees in the category were Jimmy Kimmel Live! and The Daily Show. Jimmy Kimmel Live! lost a top program award for the 14th consecutive year, though this year wasn’t really a fair contest. Many voters rallied behind Colbert for reasons that went beyond simply admiring his show. Jimmy Kimmel’s program was nominated three times for outstanding variety series and now 11 times for outstanding variety talk series. The Daily Show was last year’s winner in this category. In addition, The Daily Show With Jon Stewart won 11 times and The Daily Show With Trevor Noah won once. Comedian Nate Bargatze hosted the show, which, by coincidence, aired on CBS, the network that received industry ire for axing Colbert. (The three legacy networks – ABC, CBS and NBC – and Fox air the show on a rotating basis.) Other 2025 Emmy News SNL50 topped The Apple Music Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show Starring Kendrick Lamar, Beyoncé Bowl, SNL50: The Homecoming Concert and The Oscars to win for outstanding variety special (live). There were two musical performances on the show. Reba McEntire and the two women from Little Big Town – Karen Fairchild and Kimberly Schlapman – sang the theme song from The Golden Girls, which debuted on NBC 40 years ago to the day. Andrew Gold wrote and first recorded the song, “Thank You for Being a Friend,” in 1978, when it reached No. 25 on the Billboard Hot 100. Vince Gill and Lainey Wilson performed Gill’s 1995 hit “Go Rest High on That Mountain” as this year’s In Memoriam song. The song reached No. 14 on Hot Country Songs and won the Grammy and the CMA Award for song of the year. The In Memoriam spot included numerous people who had a music tie-in, including such legends as Quincy Jones and Ozzy Osbourne; Robin Kaye, the American Idol music supervisor who was killed by an intruder in her home;   variety TV producers Don Mischer, Gary Smith and Allan Blye; directors Jeff Margolis and Marty Callner; composers Mark Snow and Alf Clausen; choreographer Judith Jamison; and Hot 100 hitmaker-turned-game-show-host Wink Martindale.    The Studio was the top winner across the three nights of the 2025 Primetime Emmy Awards – two nights of Creative Arts Emmys and now the main primetime telecast. The comedy won a total of 13 Primetime Emmys this season, setting a new record for the most Emmys for a comedy series in a single season. The old record was held by The Bear, which won 11 awards in 2024. Seth Rogan personally won four awards for his work on The Studio, tying the all-time record for most Primetime Emmys in one year. The feat was previously accomplished by Moira Demos (Making a Murderer, 2016), Amy Sherman-Palladino (Fleabag, 2018) and Dan Levy (Schitt’s Creek, 2020). Other series that won three or more Primetime Emmys this year across the three nights of awards were: The Penguin (nine); Adolescence, SNL50: The Anniversary Special and Severance (eight each); Andor, The Pitt and The Traitors (five each). Jean Smart, 73, won her seventh career Emmy for her leading role in Hacks. Kathy Bates, 77, won her third career Emmy for her leading role in the reboot of Matlock. Catherine O’Hara, 71, won her third career award for her supporting role in The Studio. Harrison Ford, 83, won his first Emmy for his supporting role in Shrinking. (Just by being nominated, Bates become the oldest nominee in that category to date.) Smart has won more Emmys in acting categories than anyone else in the 2000s. In all of Emmy history, she is just one shy of the all-time record of eight acting awards shared by Cloris Leachman and Julia Louis-Dreyfus. Smart has won four times for Hacks since 2021, twice for Frasier (2000 and ’21), and once for Samantha Who (2008). At the other end of the age spectrum, Owen Cooper, 15, won outstanding supporting actor in a limited or anthology series or movie for Adolescence, becoming the youngest male actor ever to win a Primetime Emmy. He edges out Scott Jacoby, who was 16 when he won in 1973 for Seven time Emmy winneoutstanding performance by an actor in a supporting role in drama for playing the son of a gay dad in That Certain Summer, an ABC Movie of the Week that was groundbreaking for the time. Two actresses have won at even younger ages:  Roxana Zal, who was just 14 when she won outstanding supporting actress in a limited series

Reba McEntire, Rex Linn Announce Engagement on Red Carpet

Reba McEntire is getting hitched. The country music star and her beau Rex Linn used the platform of the 2025 Primetime Emmy Awards to share the good news. The happy couple are, of course, co-stars in the NBC sitcom Happy’s Place, in which McEntire plays the titular character Bobbie and Linn portrays the character Emmett. McEntire confirmed their engagement during a red carpet interview with E! News when the reporter referred to Linn as the singer’s “fiancé.” Explore See latest videos, charts and news “We’re having a blast on ‘Happy’s Place’ and so glad to be here tonight,” she responded. In another giveaway, McEntire was spotted wearing a black ring on her left ring finger. A rep for McEntire confirms to Billboard that the couple are now engaged. Later, McEntire took the stage at the Ovation Theater at L.A. Live for the Golden Girls 40th anniversary tribute, for which she joined in to sing the theme song, “Thank You for Being a Friend,” alongside Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild and Kimberly Schlapman. She also presented the Emmy for outstanding supporting actress in a comedy series. The loved-up pair started dating in 2020, news of which McEntire shared by way of her podcast Learning with Reba McEntire. After calling him a “very, very sweetheart of a guy,” McEntire revealed how the affair blossomed during the pandemic. “We’ve been talking during the pandemic,” she explained at the time. “We had dinner with Rex, was it in January? And then February, on it was the Covid pandemic, and we were talking, texting, FaceTime. And that’s a really good way to get to know people.” McEntire and Linn go way back, having reportedly met the set of the 1980 TV movie The Gambler. The singer, actress and The Voice coach split from her husband of 26 years, Narvel Blackstock, in 2015. Prior to that, she was married to Charlie Battles from 1976 to 1987. Linn has never walked down the aisle. Source link
